If you need some quick office space on the construction site or don't have the real estate for a big office complex in the industrial yard Model Structures will be happy to trailer over our portable offices.
The standard design has two office containers stacked on top of each other. The footprint is approximately 8 1/2 inches by 3 inches by 6 inches (h). Add an extra one inch for the stairway to the width.
The offices can also be purchased separately for side by side location or a combination of two stacked and one office in a side location. Please note the stacked versions are glued together.

This fuel loading platform was designed to sit over a straight piece of track at least 30 inches long. The platform measures roughly 32 x 7 1/2 x 7 (h). To accommodate the two stairways connecting the passover walkway add another 4 inches to the width. The platform is a bi-level structure with maintenance level about 2 1/2 inches high. A stairway connects the maintenance level with the top level walkway. There is a set of four pipes that runs the length of the platform. The piping can be made independent of each other, all connected or any combination desired. Normal pipe ending on the input side will be to ground unless otherwise specified. There are two sets of four gate valves (two for each pipe) spaced approximately the width of a tanker car. Each gate valve has a down spout connected to it.
This platform would work well either connected to a pipe distribution network as shown or to any of the various storage tanks we offer.
Floating Top Storage Tank
A new addition to Model Structures Oil Refinery series this tank measures six inches in diameter and 6 inches in height. Not shown in the picture is a stairway from the ground to a platform on top of the tank. This stairway will be a wrap around style. There is one lamp post (12 volt bulb) on the platform next to a ramp that connects the floating top to the platform. Wiring for the lamp post is hidden within the tank. More lamp posts may be ordered if desired.The floating top is not glued in place so can be removed to change the bulb assembly on the lamp post. The structure comes standard with a manyway plus inlet and outlet nozzles. Decals are also available at added cost.
This water tower design is longer than the standard product measuring approximately 14 inches to the top platform base. The tank is shorter and shaped differently. It is approximately 3 inches tall with a hemispherical bottom and a cone top. Total height is roughly 16 inches. The normal design incorporates a black tank and a dark gray superstructure without decals or it can be ordered with one of several railroad/industrial names. The water tower base footprint is approximately 4 1/4 inches square. The top platform is approximately 3 1/2 inches square. The tank, piping and caged ladder network are shipped unattached.
4-Unit Tank Farm with Platform
The latest addition to Model Structures for Model Railroads Oil Refinery Series is a large complex that incorporates four large 3-inch diameter tanks six inches long on a superstructure with lower and upper decking. The standard design will have a squared off end as opposed to that shown in the photo. Each tank has inlet and outlet piping each of which goes to ground. Pipe routing can be modified to suit customer preferences. On top of each tank there are individual man-ways and relief valves. Overall footprint is approximately16 inches by 20 inches. The base shown is included in the base price. As with our product Lamp posts using 12-volt bulbs and decals can be added for additional cost. If one of our Fuel Loading Platforms is added then pipe routing can be modified to connect the Tank farm to the Platform.
This new structure incorporates the updated pump stand design that can swivel 360 degrees in both the horizontal and vertical directions. The Narrow Fuel Loading Platform is built on a lighter superstructure than the standard platform and has a narrower deck (1 3/4 inches by 11 1/2 inches). Overall footprint is 2 1/4 inches by 12 inches plus an extra 4 inches for the stairway. The platform can be designed with the stairway either on one end or off to one side. Extra pump stands can be added plus lamp posts (12 volt AC bulbs) if desired. Attached to the pump is a rubber hose with a nozzle at the end. For single sided loading both pump stands can be moved to one side. Piping for fuel goes to ground at one end of the platform or if one of our tank structures is purchased the piping can be designed to connect the tank to the platform. As with our other structures this platform can be modified (length, width, number of pump stands, lamp posts etc) to suit customer preferences.
